This was my first time here having their Dan Dan noodles from the lunch special menu. Absolutely delicious noodles! The flavours were just so so good, with just the perfect balance between quantity and quality. I am definitely going to revisit to try other dishes. Can't wait!
Had a lovely experience at DanDan Wimbledon! We all enjoyed the various starters, the main that stood out was the beef in cumin oil, cucumber salad and the chow main noddles! But overall all food was very tasty, very fresh and delicious! Service was excellent and atmosphere very friendly, beautiful decor! Definitely recommend and will be looking to come back soon. An excellent restaurant that instantly brought back memories of our meals in China. The food is authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. Despite the extensive menu, the quality is there—every dish we tried was fresh and homemade. A fantastic discovery! The restaurant looks amazing, with great decor and a really clean space. The service was just as good—there were always staff around, super friendly and ready to help, which made us feel really welcome. At the end of the evening, as some of the last guests to leave, we were pleasantly surprised to receive bags with the restaurant’s branding—a thoughtful gesture that touched us. A flawless experience from start to finish, and a place we will definitely return to with great pleasure!
Our friends recommended Dan Dan’s lunch specials so when went as we needed refuelling before our shopping. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and the team was very friendly. Their kids menu portions were very good. From Kids Menu: Sweet & Sour Chicken, Egg Fried Rice, Veg Spring Rolls and Pineapple Juice. We ordered the Pork Spare Rib Noodle Soup, Dan Dan Noodle with Minced Pork, and Mala (Numbing Spicy) Braised Beef Noodle Soup. We were not disappointed. Dan Dan noodle had a nice sauce base that was aromatic and nutty. The braised beef shin was tender, rice noodle was bouncy, and the Mala oil was fragrant. The stewed pork was soft and the noodle had a nice bounce to them. We had a satisfying lunch here and would stop by more often to try other specialties.
We came on a Friday evening and the place is quite full. We ordered stir fried cabbage, spicy intestine in pot ( it was deep fried and cleaned properly so not smelly at all!) and spicy beef (E28). The food is very tasty and the staffs are friendly in a good location. Will definitely come back again!
Love their food! Their prawn delicacies are definitely a must-have. Their rice dishes are also exceptional, good for 2 people, but if you're a rice-lover like me then it might not be enough. The price is just about the same as any mid range restaurant, so it's not too bad. Their staff is very accommodating and helpful. Will probably come back to try the other items on their menu!
Loved our visit here today. We were a booking of 8 which included 3 children. The service was excellent, the food delicious, arrived quickly and reasonably priced. There's also a kids menu and they gave extra effort to ensure our experience was memorable. Would happily recommend.
The food was flavorful and had beautiful presentation. The Shanghai bao had a subtle sweetness and came out with a wonderful soft texture with a delight crunch from the fried portion of the bun. The Iberian pork with rice was delicious, though I did steal some of my friend's oil from his duck to put on my rice. All in all, definitely recommend Dan Dan if you want some very well done Chinese food.
